童軍オタク

今年10月底的童軍世界空中大會上的網站「Welcome at the JOTA-JOTI Camp Fire circle | JOTA-JOTI」，分享了不少童軍歌曲，當時已經寫了一篇文章「2018世界空中大會篇」作簡單介紹，那時就提到，有三首歌曲還沒完整介紹過，會找時間來介紹。聖誕節前夕，先介紹了應景的「樅樹（ O Tannenbaum，德國民謠 ）」，緊接著今天趁2018年即將結束前夕，來介紹這首 螞蟻在行軍 ( The ants go marching )。這首歌曲是1863年美國內戰時所流行的「當強尼漫步回家時（When Johnny Comes Marching Home）」這首歌改編，而在1867年愛爾蘭也有同樣的「強尼我幾乎不認得你 （Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye）」，是一首流傳很廣並有多種改編版本的歌曲。

螞蟻在行軍 ( The ants go marching )是帶有教小孩數字與簡單英文字母的改編歌曲，十段歌詞從一數到十，然後每段歌詞都有螞蟻做不一樣的事情，是一首可帶領氣氛，又可以英文教學的改編童謠。後段歌詞如下....

「當強尼漫步回家時（When Johnny Comes Marching Home）」這首歌是美國內戰時，由愛爾蘭裔詞曲作家Patrick Gilmore所做，所以樂風帶有愛爾蘭民謠的味道，歌詞也蠻長的，或者說當時很流行這種四句一段旋律，然後同樣旋律有好幾段歌詞接著唱的敘事歌。比愛爾蘭的反戰歌曲「強尼我幾乎不認得你 （Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye）」早發行，最初原曲應該是來自美國。

愛爾蘭的「強尼我幾乎不認得你 （Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye）」雖然跟「當強尼漫步回家時（When Johnny Comes Marching Home）」同樣旋律，但聽起來就比較悲傷，更別說歌詞上的差異了。前面提過，縱使是同樣旋律，只要稍微將節奏變慢，就會從原本輕快進行曲變成帶著哀傷的歌曲。

在國內，並沒有特別為「螞蟻在行軍 ( The ants go marching )」改編的中文童謠，不過在棒球場上，曾經是統一獅隊洋將布雷的加油歌。
