原介紹文章:尋根之旅(七) -- 小天使( 煙草屋の娘、Shall We Gather at the River? )
Shall We Gather at the River?
Shall we gather at the river,
Where bright angel-feet have trod,
With its crystal tide forever
Flowing by the throne of God?
我羨慕在彼唱吟;
Chorus:
Yes, we'll gather at the river, The beautiful, the beautiful river; Gather with the saints at the river That flows by the throne of God.
On the margin of the river,
Washing up its silver spray,
We will walk and worship ever
All the happy, golden day.
Ere we reach the shining river,
Lay we every burden down;
Grace our spirits will deliver,
And provide a robe and crown.
At the smiling of the river,
Mirror of the Saviour's face,
Saints, whom death will never sever,
Lift their songs of saving grace.
Soon we'll reach the silver river;
Soon our pilgrimage will cease;
Soon our happy hearts will quiver
With the melody of peace.
原介紹文章:尋根之旅 (23) -- 幼女童軍晉級歌 ( Jesus loves me slide show with,しゃぼん玉 )
Jesus loves me! This I know, (拍手鞠躬向前進) For the Bible tells me so; (拍手鞠躬向前進) Little ones to Him belong; (拿起你的榮譽徽章) They are weak, but He is strong.
Refrain: Yes, Jesus loves me! (它可以 讓你去 幫助別人) Yes, Jesus loves me! (它可以 讓你去 幫助別人) Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.
「kum ba yah」之意為「come by here」,內容就是希望上帝來到身邊,來幫助需要的人。
Kum ba yah, my lord, Kum ba yah! Kum ba yah, my lord, Kum ba yah! Kum ba yah, my lord, Kum ba yah. O Lord, Kum ba yah
Someone's crying, Lord, Kum ba yah! Someone's crying, Lord, Kum ba yah! Someone's crying, Lord, Kum ba yah! O Lord, Kum ba yah
Someone's singing, Lord, Kum ba yah! Someone's singing, Lord, Kum ba yah! Someone's singing, Lord, Kum ba yah! O Lord, Kum ba yah
Someone's praying, Lord, Kum ba yah! Someone's praying, Lord, Kum ba yah! Someone's praying, Lord, Kum ba yah! O Lord, Kum ba yah
之前的文章榮譽在我心 ( With Jesus in the boat,有主在我船上,歸船 )
With Jesus in my boat I can smile in the storm Smile in the storm, smile in the storm With Jesus in my boat I can smile in the storm When I am sailing home
when I’m sailing home when I’m sailing home With Jesus in my boat I can smile in the storm When I am sailing home
What A Friend We Have In Jesus
( 作曲:Charles C. Converse, 1868/作詞:Joseph M. Scriven, 1855)
What a Friend we have in Jesus
What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.
Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge, take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do your friends despise, forsake you? Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He'll take and shield you; you will find a solace there.
Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised Thou wilt all our burdens bear
May we ever, Lord, be bringing all to Thee in earnest prayer.
Soon in glory bright unclouded there will be no need for prayer
Rapture, praise and endless worship will be our sweet portion there
之前介紹過了多雷米之歌 ( Do-Re-Mi The Sound of Music,1956 )與 雪絨花 ( Edelweiss,The Sound of Music,1959 ),今天來介紹用約德爾調(Yodeling)所演唱的「lonely goatherd(孤獨的牧羊人)」。
